Welcome to “De Derde Kamer”. For nearly 20 years, a staple name in Nijmegen and to many a second living room. On that beautiful square “De Grote Markt”, the city really comes to live. Experience that feeling of coming home to the cosiest living room, in the heart of the town centre. Many songs have been sung, inspired by the love for our café, and for good reason: “De Derde Kamer where it’s so wonderful to be, because the beer there is amazing, and the rosé is fruity and fresh, where it always feels like coming home, cosy and warm on the terrace.”. It is a great place for all to enjoy, in the oldest city of The Netherlands.

With a large heated terrace in the middle of Nijmegen’s “Grote Markt” you can enjoy the unique view of a historic location, based at the foot of St. Stevens Church. The cosy terrace is spacious and attractive, it offers plenty of space to comfortably enjoy a cup of coffee with a cake or maybe try something tasty from our drinks menu. Additionally, our terrace makes for the ideal location to enjoy a delicious lunch or stay and have dinner with us.
